I wanted to say thank you for a wonderful weekend. Everything couldn't have been more perfect – the cabin accommodations, the basket and thee most beautiful roses. In spite of the all the issues you had with the storm, our cabin was just wonderful and the grounds were in great shape and the lake was marvelous. I am looking forward to scheduling another stay with you.

We have so many on-site activities, some guests feel no need to leave.

If you need more exercise or adventure, our lodging is also close to many area activities and historical sites. Enjoy swimming, canoeing, kayaking or a Missouri Black River float trip. Picnic and hike in Elephant Rocks State Park or Johnson's Shut-ins State Park (swimming too). Trek along the Ozark Trail or up Taum Sauk Mountain, enjoying the scenery, exercise and fresh air.

Just want to let you know again how much we enjoyed this last weekend. Everything was so elegant with the touch of Country that made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. Thank you for the wonderful food, it's hard to get compliments from Bobby who is still bragging about the breakfast's and Mimosa's! We look forward to returning.

Take the family to the Fort Davidson State Historic Site, learn about the Battle of Pilot Knob and picnic in the park. Full-scale Civil War reenactments of the Battle of Pilot Knob are staged, attracting thousands of visitors.
